Pig Of Sparta
Hi, I thought I'd put some photos up of the latest power armoured project I completed: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8198/8221228940_82062d84d3_n.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8064/8220147049_3b0f1ddbf0_n.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8478/8220146193_3fb8bd6de3_n.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8065/8221225796_890156c41e_n.jpg Painting this mini was great fun and something of an experiment in dealing with so much bronze plating. For a while I wasn't sure that my idea was going to pan out but I think persevering was worth it. He might not be the same as the 'official' Forge World scheme but I think he's just as characterful. Special Thanks go to mikhail for his kindness in sending me this mini. I hope I've done him justice my friend . As always please feel free to leave comments or criticism thanks James
Oojamaflip
Very nice, lovely smooth paint on him. Could just be the light, but are there any highlights on him?
Monstra Sumus
I wouldn't like to meet him in a dark alley. Kudo's Pig.
Watch Commander Danek
I was just about to ask about highlights as well. They would certainly add some depth and contrast. Perhaps it's the camera but the model looks a tad more coppery to me. That coupled with the red is effecting your final results. I do say, you did a wonderful job with coverage with your metallics. In the old days anyway painting metallics could be a nightmare.
