I'm in this month's White Dwarf!

Hello there. Garfy from the Tale of Painters bloghere aka Gareth Etherington. I had the proud honour of being White Dwarf's first contributor to the Reader's Parade Ground. Without being over dramatic (too late) it's been a childhood ambition of mine to be in White Dwarf since the first issue I bought (issue 175) in 1993. 19 years later I achieve that life goal with a double page spread.

This is a huge deal to me and better then any painting award I've ever won.

I wanted to share some different angles of the models featured with you guys.

I'm always happy to see nice models being featured in White Dwarf. In my humble oppinion, too much half-assed painting have found its way into WD lately, as if they just need *something* to fill in all the pages.

Normally I'm not much for battle damage because it is almost always overdone. You're balancing on the limit, but the fantastic paintjob makes up for it. The freehand on the Raven is increadeble - the wing I is fantastic.
