Kierdale
I wondered if any members could give advice on painting horns and hooves as realistically as possible? What colours to use, how best to do it, etc. Any advice (include photos of your work of course, if you wish) would be much appreciated! saadeath
I don't have any photos sadly :/ My general way of doing horns and the like (I haven't done many hooves so I don't know if this would work) is starting off with a bone color on the whole surface. Then I start adding layers working towards the tip, getting closer and closer to a very dark almost black brown color. If done right you end up with a lighter base that flows into a very dark tip. Edit: haha reverse that! darker base, lighter tip. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266795-horns-and-hooves/#findComment-3249458 Share on other sites
