Maybe dirty them up a bit with some light rust on the metal and some dirt/mud at the lower spots, but that is it. Oddly enough I just finished cleaning up three sets of Aegis Defense Line walls, a Quad Gun, Icarus Lascannon, and a communications array, and I was thinking of how I wanted to paint them. And then there is the use of the Dark Angels symbols on them too (not like I don't have a billion of those). Seeing these will have me thinking about that a bit more now. Dark Rage Posted December 3, 2012 Share Posted December 3, 2012 That defense line looks great, would have to agree with shabbadoo about the dirt, but maybe also a drybrush of metal or edge highlight to bring out the details.
