This Warpstorm is held open by a series of complex sorcery imbued into runes buried deep in the core of Merthallor I. +++ MERTHALLOR I +++ WORLD TYPE: Ice planet, Dead world POPULATION: 0 OTHER INFORMATION: Merthallor I was colonised for a time, but when a Warpstorm consumed the Merthallor star, Chaos Daemons descended upon the populace, wreaking havoc and slaughtering them all for fifty days and fifty nights. It is now a Daemon-infested world, and anything not tainted that lands there never returns. +++ MERTHALLOR II +++ WORLD TYPE: Hive world POPULATION: Approximately 12.5 billion OTHER INFORMATION: Merthallor II is the hive world from which all Ironshades and Sons of Merthallor recruits are selected. The entire population worships the gods of Chaos under a harsh regime enforced by the Sons of Merthallor Traitor Guard Legion based there. +++ MERTHALLOR III +++ WORLD TYPE: Forge world POPULATION: Approximately 5.2 billion OTHER INFORMATION: Merthallor III serves as a Forge world for the renegade Ironshades Space Marine Chapter. All of the Ironshades' vehicles and Daemon Engines are built and maintained here. It is also home to the Legio Cruor Titan Legion. +++ MERTHALLOR IV +++ WORLD TYPE: Ice planet POPULATION: Approximately 2 billion OTHER INFORMATION: Merthallor IV is both the founding planet and home planet of the Renegade Ironshades Chapter. It is not only home to the Astartes but also to the nearly two billion serfs and artificers that maintain their wargear. +++ MERTHALLOR V +++ WORLD TYPE: Dwarfplanet, jungle planet, dead world POPULATION: 0 OTHER INFORMATION: Merthallor V is the world far further out from the Warpstorm than any of the other planets and is used as a training world for the Sons of Merthallor due to its harsh jungle-covered mountains filled with ferocious native creatures.
