Valkyrion
Does anyone run a pseudo mono god list with counts as filling in for something else? For example running Plague Toads from FW as Blood Crushers because you run a nurgle army but want something a bit punchier? Anyone any examples of khorne fiends, or nurgle flamers, for example? Looking for inspiration... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266902-counts-as-other-daemons/ Share on other sites
AekoldHelbrass
Not yet but I have a plan to do just that, after finishing my current 3 queued projects. More than that, here is official GW link about Screamers of Khorne: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/...p?aId=17800001a Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266902-counts-as-other-daemons/#findComment-3250955 Share on other sites

Seahawk
I've been using Furies as Screamers since 3.5 C:CSM. I removed the wings and gave 'em some greenstuff so I can say " !" Dammeron
Go for it; daemons and warp entities are, by nature, the most diverse and mutable entities in the 40K universe. Even the Tyranids are bound by laws of physics and biology; daemons are not. Even the archetypes we are traditionally presented with regarding the servants of the Four Great Powers are only that; archetypes from which to elaborate. Not all Plaguebearers are the same; Nurgle has about as many potential servants as there are fears, despairs and defeated ambitions in all human history and imagination. So too all of the other powers, not to mention the minor warp entities or lesser powers that coalesce from time to time. eastern barbarian
definitely yes, I am aiming to do the same and can't see why would it be a problem. local demon player here has great looking nurgle army using demons from all possible gods but they are all painted looking very nurgle. Works great. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266902-counts-as-other-daemons/#findComment-3253899 Share on other sites
Valkyrion
I'm not too keen on the idea of Plague-ettes... :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266902-counts-as-other-daemons/#findComment-3253963 Share on other sites
Azekai
I am- Plague Marines need some R&R too! More disease for the Lord of Plague! :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266902-counts-as-other-daemons/#findComment-3254397 Share on other sites
heralds of excess
I run a mono-slaanesh list with count-as models for bloodletters and horrors. The Bloodletters are just your basic Gors with Corsair swords and the Horrors are Daemonttes with converted plasma pistol-y things for arms. I hope that helps? Feuermann
Why not use giant plage flyes as nurgle screamers and some kind of plague-pukers as nurgle flamers? Urauloth
plague-pukers I like this idea on the provision that you call them exactly this. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266902-counts-as-other-daemons/#findComment-3260285 Share on other sites
Lord_Caerolion
Slaaneshi Bloodletters: model them to look like Classical sculptures, with greco-roman style helmets, and armed with swords/spears, you now have the Gladiators of Slaanesh, daemons embodying the quest for perfection in duelling.
