Silver Fox
I am about to purchase some of Forge World's Mk II Assault Marines and was wondering if anyone else had examples of painted figures? I'm putting together a force of Sable Swords and would like some tips on painting black and white armour (particularly how a relatively un-skilled painter can cleanly highlight black armour). Apologies if this is in the wrong thread but I'm new around here. Cornelias
http://theback40k.blogspot.co.uk/2010/08/tutorial-painting-black-armor.html I use this method, it is pretty easy to get the hang of and is fast and effective when painting full squads :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267094-painting-mkii-crusade-armour/#findComment-3283623 Share on other sites
elmo
Do you mean a little like this - MKIII not MKII but its close http://i814.photobucket.com/albums/zz66/jonbrooks_photo/PB090009.jpg More photos here: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.php?showtopic=265476 The black highlight is done with a very dry-drybrush of codex grey.
