I'm starting up this WIP so i can get opinions on my work.

 

i have been painting for over a year now and it has slowly improved.

 

it pictures do it no justices but here they are.

pictures generally show a lot of things you cant see easily with the naked eye (at least thats what i tell myself!)

 

 

also - you can take theose links above and put around each to show the pic in the thread

 

bike captain is coming along nicely. i would suggest using some washes to darken the receses of the armour to make it more striking. drakenhof nightshade is the GW recommened one. do the same on the tabard and metals too to witht he appropriate washes to give the model more depth. works particularly well on metals in fact! looks like you've added some battle damage toe the claw too, good stuff!

 

the marines - you can clearly see improvement across these - well done and keep at it.

 

best thing to improve, make yourself try new things!

 

edit: link to my only attempt at a blue marine as an example of washing 9used on shadowey areas/recesses). uses the ultramaines paint list on the GW site for the armour
