Blight Drone Conversion

I was wondering what you guys thought about converting a storm talon to be a blight drone. Looking at the drone you could see it looking a lot like the storm talon if you took away the 1000s of years of corruption etc.

 

so what do you think? could it be done well?

 

alternatively what would you think about a chaotic looking storm talon counting as a blight drone? (obviously i'd have to add on extra weapons and stuff to be WYSIWYG)

Interesting idea. I have been considering the butt-parts for the heldrake . . . perhaps they would make a good face for a blight drone kitbash . . .

 

WYSIWYG is pretty much dead. If you want to model the options, go for it, but it is hardly necessary.

i like the idea of using the tentecally bits, although forgeworlds drone just has a single lens as a face.

i've never actually seen a blight drone in real life, any idea how it and the talon match for size

I have not compared them side by side, but I believe the stormtalon is a bit larger, judging from the base size (flyer base vs. the 60mm of the drone).

size wise it would work , Storm Talon is only slightly bigger. Model is in my opinion atrocious though, but perhaps with a good conversion it can work.
