the emperor is scottish
Just wondering what models you guys use as wolfen or if you make your own. I've seen people using beast men to great success, has anyone tried this and how did you get on? Apahllo
Ghoul hands work good for me, had some left over from my old vc. With a little green stuff it looks great. I only have 1 13th company model so I had 5 wulfen to make. Personally I like the extra broken bones in the ghoul hands but I've gotten mixed results from others. Valerian
Assuming that you're talking about the upgrade for a model within a pack, we don't have full-blown Wulfen (like those that were in the old 13th Company list), we have Marines with the "Mark of the Wulfen." As I see it, this "Mark" is a tendency toward Wulfenlike qualities, a more bestial nature, and a berserk fury in combat, with perhaps some limited physical manifestations, vice a full transformation. Therefore, I chose to model my men with the MotW with a distinct shoulder pad and close combat weapons (such as dual chainswords, or axe and dagger). Blacksad
I use a combination of yellow eyes, fiery orange hair, and a red tattoo-ish marking on the face. also usefull are the grenade holding hands combined with a pistol / bolter / other ranged weapon Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267200-wolfen/#findComment-3254734 Share on other sites

Daddywarcrimes
My Wulfen get black markings on their helms, since I figure the Mark of the Wulfen is a double edged sword. It is an honorific, in that it recognizes the hugely advanced potential for violence in the AllFather's name, and a warning to packmates that one of their brethren walks a line of oblivion. Valerian
Now that I'm back on a computer, I can post an actual photo. This is one of my MotW models. All of them have the same Black shoulder pad with the White Skull and Crossbones; this distinguishes them from the rest of their pack, while not making them so different that I couldn't just use them as normal Grey Hunters, if I decided that I didn't want to pay for the upgrade in a pack. Here is another MotW model for a different Grey Hunter pack. This fellow has earned the additional honor of carrying his pack's Wolf Standard: V Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267200-wolfen/#findComment-3255356 Share on other sites
Brother Mjollner
I've partially painted these guys since this pic was taken, werewolf heads from maximini, with ghoul hands.
