Plaguecaster
Hey everyone just wondering if you have a special character in your army with a Warlord trait (Khârn, typhus etc) does that mean they have to be your warlord with that trait or can you choose another HQ as the warlord to try and get a better one, I usually run Typhus with Sorcerer build Nurgle CSM army but was just wondering since Typhus has fear as his warlord trait which is pretty stupid (especially against most of the armies at my club) can I nominate the sorcerer as the warlord in an attempt to get something better cheers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267515-warlord-traits-and-scs/ Share on other sites
abadizzle
That's totally legit. IF you elect typhus as your warlord you're stuck w fear- if you elect your sorcerer you get to roll for a new one from either codex: chaos or from the BRB. Same goes for 2 special characters in the same list- elect one and use that trait, though a fixed trait can't be exchanged for a roll on the traits tables Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267515-warlord-traits-and-scs/#findComment-3258101 Share on other sites
Kraull the Rampager
I personally don't see why not. Only Abaddon says specifically that he MUST be the warlord.
