moric Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 Hello all and especially Blood Angels I started only recently to collect my Blood Angels after i finished with my Imperial Fists and decided to build a fast moving strike force with 3 stormravens. But as we all know the regular base for flyers is just awful so i decided to take it a step further and created this http://imageshack.us/a/img233/7281/wips002crop.jpg I'd really like all your opinions on this, the plan is to paint the "angels" logo as Lava as i try to represent the 4th company pre-heresy on signus prime (Fear to tread novel) and the idea of the ground breaking open as a blood angels logo full of lava bursts free is kind of awesome. The whole army will be based on lava bases (my casts) and marked with black "X"s to signify that they been touched by the "flaw" Should i go ahead and turn it to a mold to cast it or its ugly? celes Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 I think it looks great, but as it is it looks a little bit artificial. I'd suggest maybe breaking up the bridges between the blood drop and the wings, maybe adding one to one of the wings to break it into 2 or 3 pieces.
