MadMek83
BA's have die hard assault reputation thanks to fluff and scoring assault marines. 6th edition did nerfed heavily BA's assault potential while making especially Spacewolf Grey Hunter packs dangerous to be assaulted. However 5 out of 6 matches are objective matches. That means our rhinos' or our ASM's will get our scoring units faster to obejctives than most other armies (Eldars excluded) while have resilience to withstand fire. Also Vindis and Baal's which are great for close and midrange firesupport can actually stay with speedy units and cause some serious havok. Mobility gives BA edge against most armies in objective based games but in KP/VP games, you better keep ASM's away from harms way, especially when playing against wolves. Greyhunter pack with mark fo wolfen and wolf standard will make shred out of most assault units. Like said, mobility of our scoring troops and medium range heavy firesupport does allow BA's to reach places they want faster and also have thus better change actually dictate where medium range fire fights are being fought.
