Lone Wolf modeling question

Hello fellow wolfbrothers. So I recently bought the Space Wolves terminators box and getting ready to model my Lone Wolf with chainfist and stormshield. But I noticed that the sprues have both the shields and the chainfists as left handed only! Will some cutting be required so that either the shield or chainfist can be attached as right handed?

Here's how I would do it after looking over the parts:

 

First carefully cut off or file down the grip on a storm shield

 

Then trim the haft of one of the thunder hammers to make a grip

 

Then attach the shied to the new grip, building it up with plastic card, green stuff,etc as needed.

I used the power maul instead of the hammer haft, but the process is the same.

I cut the storm bolter off the arm and the hand off the sheild, then put smal triangles of GS on top and bottom of the fist for the handle, simple.

I've done one for a TDA:

 

take a shield and remove de fist inside it

take a wolf claws, right handed, remove the claws

 

put the shield instead of the "lost" claws...

Here is how I did it; take this guy, who already has a right-handed Storm Shield, and replace left arm with plastic Chain Fist from the WGT boxed set. Done.

True. The trick is to just think of it as semi-penetration from incoming heavy weapons fire and power weapons :P

Ack, couldn't do that with Arjac, my favourite SW character ^^

 

How about just taking a right handed Lightning Claw from any other SM Terminator, removing the claws, then adding a Chainsword in whatever way suits you ? I saw a great idea of putting chainswords in the palm of the fists grip somewhere here.
