Gentlemanloser
Can your own allied units mess with your ability to inflitrate your own units? Infiltrate; Infiltrators can be set up anywhere on the table that is more than 12 " from any enemy unit, as long as no deployed enemy unit can draw line of sight to them. <snip> Alternatively, they can be set up anywhere on the table more than 18" from any enemy unit, even in plain sight. Allies; treat <snip> as enemy units What happens if it's the Allied units that can infiltrate? do they treat units from your Primary detachment as 'enemy units'? Or is this a one way restriction? dswanick
"Units in your army treat Allies of Convenience as enemy units that cannot be charged, shot, targeted with psychic powers or have templates or blast markers placed over them.", BRB, Pg.112 "Desperate Allies are treated exactly like Allies of Convenience.", BRB, Pg.112 Yep. Gentlemanloser
As a GK player, if I wanted to infiltrate some SM Scouts (example only), do the SM Scouts treat the GK as enemy units? And lol. Your own allies mess with your armies deployment. Win! Edit: What happens, if by some fluke or design, when you come to deploy your AoC infiltrators, there isn't a single space on the board that is legal to deploy into? Between the rest of your army, and your opponent, there's isn't anywhere that is more than 18" away due to LoS and deployment zones? This seems to an oversight, with the assumption you could always place your inflitrators in your own DZ at least. You'd probably make a gentleman's agreement with your opponent that "oops, I messed up" and simply deploy them standard in your deployment zone, without Infiltrating.
