diepotato47
The other day I was playing a game, Blood Angels on Chaos Space Marines In my turn I assaulted a squad of Chaos Marines with an Assault Squad, but we both rolled terribly, and no one died, so combat was not resolved. In my opponents turn, he charged a squad of Terminators and a second squad of Chaos Marines in to my Assault Squad that was locked in combat with the first squad of Chaos Marines. I was thoroughly creamed. Reading up on the rules, I found that multi-assaulting refers to when ONE squad will assault MULTIPLE targets. Was it legal for my opponent to assault my ONE squad with MULTIPLE squads, when my squad was locked in a previous combat? I have found no reference to it in the rule book and have never seen it done before in batreps or games but might be missing something. ShinyRhino
Yes, perfectly legal so long as he can make base contact with your models. It works just like any other combat. Morollan
Yes, perfectly legal. Nothing to stop a unit from assaulting an enemy that is already locked in combat.
