Here is my Emperors Children chaos lord. Hes made from the Aspiring Champion kit and raptor parts.

Unfortunately because of the way the sword arm is and the backpack, you cant fit a shoulder pad in there... I dont know what to do with his shoulder, any suggestions?

I gave him a plasma pistol. If the shoulder pad looks rough, its cos i built this guy normally first and essentially had to carve his arm out of the shoulder pad.

A final picture in slightly better light. Im no photographer so im sorry for crappy photos

I've just recently put that arm on my own Slaanesh lord. File the area at the top down, or cut it away with a knife, leaving the bottom area intact so that it shows underneath the shoulderpad. That way, the shoulderpad will be able to fit as the top part won't be as raised. Due to the angle of the arm, it won't be noticeable.

It's the area in red that you'll want to remove. I recommend filing it as you can do it gradually and work down to the required level.

I would practice doing this on an arm you're not using for anything first, as this arm is far too cool to risk messing up...seriously, don't risk it before you've had a trial run...

to be fair... this shoulder-pad problem is not at all the same as fitting that very sword arm under the shoulderpad of the DV chosen champion... however, the idea of trimming down the inner pad as much as possible might work, as this will give you more freedom to finely fit it there,

another trick would be use a very "minimalistic" pad, like a very basic one with no parts "sticking out" that could possible get in the way (such as a very basic CSM shoulder pad)... failing all that, i can only recomment using another backpack. one that leaves more room between the exhaust and the shoulder
