Arcadius Solisto
here are the heroes of the chapter so far and their background -Grandwarden Adagio Silvaris, Keeper of the Sands: The first chapter master of the Legion, his feats exemplar and a skilled tracker of Fallen Angels, he ruled the chapter with zeal and competence, however the huge gap on the chapter's history prevents us from uncovering his fate, all we know is that he fell by the hands of Malkator, and now his body rests in the chapters mausoleum, he used to carry a large power zweihander to battle, however such artifact now lays shattered in the 1st company's vault of treasure's -Captain Malkator, the Grandwarden hunter: When the first council was made, a chapter master had to be chose to lead the chapter unto glory, two candidates stepped forward, both selected, Adagio and Malkator, for their prowess in battle and leadership, however Adagio was chosen over his brother and named Grandwarden. Unable to accept defeat, Malkator was slowly consumed by jealousy and bitterness, opening his mind for the ruinous powers, who started whispering in his mind words of betrayal and promises of great fortune and all the power he could harvest This led to his departure of the chapter, taking with him one ship and half the third company, for their great shame and despair, more Fallen Angels joined their wanted list, and many chapter masters of the Silver Wardens fell by Malkator's blade, never ceasing his hunt of the Grandwardens -Grandwarden Alexandros Imrick, the Undying: Imrick was one of the youngest Grandwardens, achieving his title by finding and successfully bringing more than 50 Fallen Angles of the Silver Wardens to either repentance of retribution, he became a feared name among his traitor brothers, getting reputation in the stars for his deeds, enough to get the council to reward him with the post of Grandwarden After many years of leadership, the chapter achieved great honors and glory under his guise and grew very fond and attached of their Grandwarden, who was to them, a flawless example of how a Warden should act, however with one flaw, he took many things lightly, not giving them their deserved importance and he was also very easy-going, being slow to anger, a behavior that angered his advisers, and sometimes compromised a mission or two, but all was irrelevant in the end so long the Fallen Angel is captured However, in the moon of their homeworld, Lumia, known as Ithia, a strange fluctuation of energy was spotted, and parties were dispatched to investigate, when they did not return, Imrick knew... Malkator had come for him. The moon of Ithia was a place of sorrow, a place where Malkator always ambushed and killed all previous Grandwardens, over and over the dense jungles of the moon were turned upside down looking for the traitor, to no avail, he would simply vanish after vanquishing his foe But now he did not hide his arrival, his whole fleet was now arriving in Ithia, and threatening the chapter, and in this scenario began the longest war of the Wardens, the Massacre of Ithia, seven years of struggle of the Wardens against the heavily fortified traitors, cultists, Fallen Angels, even a few Daemons were spotted, truly a devastating war In the apex of the war, seven years after the first contact, the Twins finally discovered why Malkator was there, and it was not to kill Imrick... They found out that on Ithia, deep bellow the ground, laid dormant a Chaos Blade containing a Bloodthirster of Khorne, an artifact that would give the traitor uncomparable power, it was then Imrick made his decision, and with these words he departed with half the 1st and 2nd companies: "I'll stop him, when i give the signal, order the Fiery Embrace to bombard Ithia, nuke it with all we have, this has gone too far..." When Imrick reached Malkator at the top of Mount Krax, most of his brothers were dead, and the battle between traitor and loyalist begun, however Malkator already had the Blade in hands, and Imrick was gravely woudned already, something that cut the battle short With half the blade through his chest and missing his left arm, Imrick ordered the bombardment and told Malkador while holding the blade with all his strength: "It's power or your life traitor..." Even with all his found powers, Malkator could not bring himself to dislodge the blade from Imrick, who held it fiercely, Malkator fled via warp portal and the plated was teared to pieces by a massive shower of bombs, washing its surface of all life, destroying most of the chaotic forces on it, leaving nothing more that a barren ball of cinders However, a scouting party who was searching the surface for a faint beacon found the scorched remains of Grandwarden Imrick, still alive, with the blade in his chest... How that was possible no one could believe, but somehow Imrick "survived" the bombing run and was brought to Lumia in time to be interred in a Dreadnought Sarcophagus, now Imrick stands still as Grandwarden, being awakened only in meeting of the council and important battles, being chose to remain as leader even after being interred for showing enough awareness to coordinate the reconstruction of the severely wounded chapter... more to come soon!! ^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267792-silver-wardens-heroes/ Share on other sites
