Doubles Tournament - BA - 1500x2

Hey guys, im at end of day one of a three day doubles tournament.

Sadly( although organised), I got a bye in game 2 on account of my graduation ceremony being held the same day, so i multitasked ^_^ But, game one was the most amazing, and frustrating and annoying yet awesome games ive played in a long, long time.

Wound up losing to a killer (yes really) footdar (dont laugh! ;) ) list. 2VP-1VP on Relic and Hammer/Anvil.

I will try post up a batrep with some phonepics soon.

Second? Pfft, you're letting the forum down!

Obviously I'm kidding. Really looking forward to the reports, detailed or not. We don't all expect a CAG-style report :(

As for the Footdar I feel your pain having been on the receiving end of them over the years -_-

haha, I love the first list. "Scoring bodies? we got ravens, who needs scoring bodies?!"

<_<

Thats what the 2nd list is for ;) They pick up the scoring body duty with 30 marines.

Was really nice to have a sturdy tac squad, a ten man assault squad and then the 5mans running about.

Just wondering, why does your second libby in list 1 have a JP? You have no JP troops in that army!

The way the tourney pack was worded was that your partners force was treated as your ally.

There were two clarifications/additions to that rule, and those were:

1. All ally levels/armies, other than Battle Brothers, are treated as "Allies of Convenience" - even Nids.

2. Identical armies will be treated as Battle Brothers with each other

So, in this case, the jumpy priest could link up with the other squad's jumpers.
