StrangeGuy
Hi everyone, I was digging through my massive pile of once and future Space Marine armies and I found 5 forgeworld mk iv marines still on the sprue. My next thought was, hey I should start a crusade/heresy era army with these. After looking around a few different sites I decided I'm going to paint them up as Salamanders. My question is this, would Horus Heresy Book One give me accurate rules to play a Salamanders army or should I wait for a book that specifically covers the Salamanders? Thanks in advance for the help. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267861-question-about-horus-heresy-book-one-betrayal/ Share on other sites
Darog
first book allows to collect and play any Legion. In any case, terran companies or companies dominated by terrans. However, he is so good and varied that you can play almost any legion. Grotsmasha
The Legion list in Betrayal is the building block for all of the Legion lists, future books will use the list as a basis adding special rules, formations and characters for each new book. So you can use this list to form the basics of your army, then add the Legion specific units when Salamanders are featured.
