Hey Brothers.

I have never used an airbrush before and wanted to ask some questions.

First off I have found this Airbrush on eBay. I was wondering whether any of you had used this airbrush or similar and if it is a good buy.

Secondly I was wondering what else I would need to buy so I could use it.

Thank's in advance

I got a kit from ebay with 2 airbrushes, a compressor (it doesn't have a tank on it though) and the hoses and adapters to fit the airbrushes for about £70. It works well enough for what I use (and plan to use it for) which is priming, basecoating and zenithal highlighting stuff. The pressure does fluctuate on mine slightly, but if I just use shorter bursts of spray its no problem. If you plan on using your airbrush to paint fine lines etc, I'd recommend getting a compressor with a tank for holding the air to keep the pressure constant and maybe buy a branded airbrush. (Such as Iwata or Badger) If however all you want to do with it is what I do with mine, then the cheapest option will be fine. Other people may say otherwise, but I've had no problems with my uber cheap kit (yet) that would make me want to pay more for a 'better' kit. All I can say is that when looking for a kit, make sure the compressor has a moisture trap and flow regulator on it, that you can get 22+ psi from it and that if it comes with airbrushes, make sure at least one is a top-fed dual action one and that it is supplied with the hoses and fittings to use it. My $0.02

hi, cool one you are taking your first baby steps into airbrushing:

most important part you should put you money in is the compressor to be honest. Unlike me be sure to get one with a container so you wont drive yourself and anybody living in your house completly bonkers. Also its always good to buy a kit imo.

personally i really like to shop over here (http://www.art-elements.nl) its dutch its has really good service (had a bent needle and got replaced by 2 brabd new ones) also the no nonsense warranty (really is)

The set i bought: (http://www.art-elements.nl/index.php?item=super-eindejaarsset--1--per-stuk&action=article&group_id=25&aid=830&lang=NL) with a pressure tanks which i bought last week has set me back around 175,00 euro's which is kinda cheap for a pretty solid set
