The drab look doesn't bother me much, since if I get ahold of them they are going to get befouled and pustulent. I do wish they had cloaks, though. The only things that concern me is the facial nose to eye bridge gap - looks a little weird, and also wishing that the model had more armour around the hip joints (more than just a groin tasset for example). The chest rebreather (?), besagews and man-reaper add some nice touches, and I'm very glad that the symbols don't cover the chest, but instead match that of the contemptor, keeping symbolism to a minimum on the shoulders. Yes, but the ornamentation is still pretty minimalist compared to the other legions, and especially when you consider this is Mortarion's personal retinue I think some decor is in order. I think these would do perfectly for a Typhon model, or a generic DG captain even, for instance, but these are basically honor guard, and should be adorned accordingly imo. Don't get me wrong, I do like the models, but they won't represent my Deathshroud (if I ever go the HH gaming route). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
