recon0321
So we know that the battle of the fang occurred in M32 what color was the space wolves armor grey or the grayish blue Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267978-battle-of-the-fang/ Share on other sites
greysquigg
I was going for that when I made my paint scheme. This is what I came up with. So it's adeptus battle grey (or new equivalent), dry brushed in codex grey, nuln oiled all over, dry brushed and highlighted in space wolves grey. You could swap the space wolves grey for 50/50 fortress grey and skull white. http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg482/greysquigg/DSC_1016_zps7f2537f9.jpg gs Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267978-battle-of-the-fang/#findComment-3263989 Share on other sites
Hellrender
check the cover art of the Battle of the Fang :o Also, as far i have read most space wolves get described as having slate-grey or gunmetal-grey armour. Russ Brother 92
I'd agree with a dark slate-grey, that said imo. blue-grey wolves just don't look right, I'm more in line with the grim-dark wolves of 30k Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/267978-battle-of-the-fang/#findComment-3264342 Share on other sites
daveclark890
I think the grey looks so much better than the blue-grey! The grey is dark and dirty just like the wolves should be, not clean and bright!
