S.k.i.t.t.l.e
Are you priming with white and finding that when airbrushing the colours you mentioned, they are a shade or two lighter? Could be because when airbrushing, the paint goes on semi-transparent as it's so thin, and this could be allowing some of your primer to show through. If this is the case, you'll just need to add a couple more layers of paint. As long as you're not blocking out any detail with it, it will be fine. Hope this helps. Tamwulf
If you are using Windex (or any other medium to thin the paint), you are making the paint more translucent. I.e., thinner. :tu: Not trying to make a joke there, it just came out. What I mean is, you are reducing the amount of color in the paint when you add a medium to it. This seems to be a huge problem with GW paints when I run them through my airbrush. They just don't have the pigment count of other paints out there. This was a pretty big problem for me while trying to paint my Stormtalon with GW Blood Red. It was going on pink. :) Took a lot of layers to bring the color up to something close to a red. Switched over to Reaper MSP Blood Red... no problems. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/268072-airbrushing-help/#findComment-3267623 Share on other sites
