Bryan Blaire Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 :P In addition to Onisuzeme's suggestions, I have been using the following for the Extinction Angels' parts on the bases for my Stoneburners: Naggaroth Night -> wash everything with Druchii Violet -> line highlight with Xereus Purple (note: I did not go back after the Druchii Violet and repaint any of the armor with Naggaroth Night). I also bought some Genestealer Purple to use for extreme bright light highlights on armor of "living" Chaos folks I choose to paint up as Extinction Angels. Examples of the Extinction Angels coloration: Extinction Angels parts on Stoneburners bases - Close-ups As for bone, if you care, I tried to paint up four pretty comprehensive samples in this thread: Bryan's New to Old Citadel Paint Comparison Thread Hope that can give you some ideas/help, looking forward to seeing what you come up with! BTW I ordered the DV box set, and a seperate sprue of the DW terminators of that box, is there room to customize the terminators or is it a click together build? Last scheme with green swords would be the bomb. The DV set is indeed pushfit, but if you're decently industrious with a knife/clippers/file the terminators shouldn't be too hard to tweak. josuéforgeron Posted December 29, 2012 Author Share Posted December 29, 2012 Right, seeing as I won't have any models before the 14th ^_^, time to pick a name for my chapter : Angels of Virtue / angelis virtutis Virtuous Angels Muzzlers (in that they silence the fallen, and SW reference) angeli puritatis (angels of purity) I am open to any other suggestions ... I haven't started on the fluff of my chapter yet, I want them to be part of the Unforgiven (ofcourse) but to be more humane than the rest (ex: salamanders).
