Crested helms, who should be fancy

I am slowly building up my Emperor's Children legion and was wondering who should have the fancy hats.

 

So far I have

Paragon with a sideways crest

Champion with a normal crest

Siege breaker with a vox (might convert him to have a crest)

 

Should sergeants also get crests?

I am using Transverse Crests (MK III one from the Rapier crew) for my Oficers and The Normal Profile.Crests for my Sergents, those Sgts that do not have crests i am using the Traditional Astarties Red stripe from front to back of the Helmet as a Battle field insignia for when the ceramonialcrest is not worn.

I'm using a mix to denote any member of substantial rank, so sergeants and consuls will use cool helmets, my praetor will be the commander dude from the commander banner pair, so his denotion will be the different crest on that helmet. When loken is released I will be taking him so it will be easy to tell who leads my force, other wise for consuls i'll be taking the forge world models so distinction will be easy,

edit: trans-human (although it runs in close with the 2 ultramarines captains in Know No Fear that happen across a land speeder)

 

2nd Edit: I know it's not really helpful to what you're asking, but I'm building a 40k army using Mark IV and using chrested helms for veterans squad sergeants (sternguard and vanguard) as well as my captain. The rest will have traditional rank insignia so as to prevent the diluted impact of seeing the cool crested helmets on miniatures.

Thanks for the feedback. I have decided that tactical, assault, breaching, heavy support, biker and met biker sergeants will get crests.

 

Scouts won't, since they shouldn't highlight themselves

Support squads aren't full squads o won't have full sergeants

Seekers are just a load of marksmen

Destroyers are dishonoured so are stripped of rank insignia, along with the palatine Aquila (in my emperors children anyway)
