And I'm prepared for the :cussstorm. ^^ But I did it anyway. I built myself a model for the god emperor himself. Please tell me what you think, be it positive, negative. I will use him in my fluffy Adeptus Custodes army as a stand in for Lord Kaldor Draigo. But, that being said, it's a fantastic looking model, in my opinion. Some sort of basing would be nice, though. Well.... 40k is a game. And rules do not always meet the fluff. So as far as gaming goes I think Draigo comes as close as can be. Head: regular BA head with a laurel from I don't know where. ^^ Torso: made out of green stuff, a regular torso with an eagle, plastic card, and a head of an eagle from a high elf banner. Legs: AoBR terminator sergeant, the things above the knees are made out of high elf torsos, the knee pad itself is a sanguinary guard shoulder pad with a face of a sanguinary guard death mask. Feet: Again the high elf torsos. Shoulder pads: Scibor miniatures with some sort of high elf emblem. The chainmail bit under the shoulder: is the upper leg part of high elf white lions Elbow: Again this high elf torso thingy Hands: Derive from Space Hulk terminators. Sword: Dark Vengeance Captain. Cloak: Chaos terminator lord. Shield: Scibor miniatures. Lion head: High elf kit. I'm excited to see him painted up. :lol: With regards to the counts-as Draigo thing, well...it's your model, it's your army...if you're into it and your friends are cool with it, let it rip. Were it me, I'd use him in an apoc-only game and counts-as him as one of those Primarchs in the very least...or use him as an objective. (Like a mission where the Emperor needs to be protected while he does something mystical and unknowable.) He's the Emperor; he's a plot device and by definition can stand up to a Space Marine chapter almost all his own. He's broken. <3 Too broken for the table. But the name of the game is fun so, and honestly "Man of Steel" post-Crisis era Superman was much more cool than the typical Super Invincible Plot Device character, in my mind. Maybe the stories of the Emperor are larger than life and we just don't know. The galaxy is a big bad place; lots can happen.
