Spear of Achilles
So does the AP 2 for a MC overide the lesser AP of the Black Mace, for instance. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/268770-daemon-weapons-and-daemon-prince-ap/ Share on other sites
Res Ipsa Loquitur
Yes. Smash, p.32 "All of the close combat attacks, except Hammer of Wrath Attacks, of a model with this special rule are resolved at AP 2 (unless it's attacking with an AP1 weapon)." Only MC HoW attacks and attacks that would normally be AP1 are not AP2, Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/268770-daemon-weapons-and-daemon-prince-ap/#findComment-3273723 Share on other sites
Grey Mage
Yes, because it has the "Smash" special rule wich states that all the attacks are AP2, unless the weapon it uses in CC is AP1. Axagoras
I played a game vs a marine player who had a captain on a bike with SS AA TH and in a command squad for FNP, my daemon prince with wings and black mace (testing them out) charged him and did 4 wounds. We wernt sure if it was ap 2 so we played it as ap 4, he rolled a 2 and 3 1s, then failed all fnp ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/268770-daemon-weapons-and-daemon-prince-ap/#findComment-3273793 Share on other sites
