I, Araziel of the Legio Morbidus, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least one Helbrute of Chaos on or before the 31st of March, 2013. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done.

 

 

I've had this guy knocking around since the release of Dark Vengeance, but due to working around 70 hours a week, I haven't had any time to do anything with him. I rectified that over the Christmas break I Nurgled him up a little. I figured even I should be able to paint one Helbrute in the given time for the challenge.. anyway, on to pictures!

I didn't think the melta looked "evil" enough, so I chopped it off and replaced it with the Ectoplasm head from the Mauler/Forge Fiend box set.

I'll update with pictures as soon as I'm able to.

Not at all, Tanith! It was just a case of building the Ectoplasm head from the Mauler kit, chopping off the melta barrels from the Brute's arm, filling the head with green stuff and super gluing it on once it had set.

 

 

In a minor update, I've now filled the plasma barrel with bubbly green stuff.. kinda hard to describe, but I didn't manage to take a picture before heading to work this morning. I'm hoping the painting will begin soon.
