Blood Reaver
I got "The Army Painter Drill" http://www.thewarstore.com/product46081.htm i have no idea how to fit the drill bits in, none of them fits properly and either too big or just falls through. Anyone know how to get this thing to fit together? l feel like im missing something but not sure what. Grotsmasha
Your link didn't work for me, so I googled it, hopefully this is the same one, a pic to help the explaination, So, basically the Pin Vice drill should unscrew like in the picture. The two black pieces have different sized holes in them for the different sized drill bits. Just screw the Pin Vice back together with the appropriate hole/drill bit poking out. Blood Reaver
I was able to get this far but the issue im having is that the drill bits do not fit any of the pieces, unless im trying to mount the bits incorrectly, im trying to fit the drill bits tail end first into the hole at the center of the pieces and nothing fits. Grotsmasha
As in, they're still too loose? Or a little too tight? If they're too loose, the "lid" tightens the bit as you screw it on and should fix that problem. If the bits are too tight, it's because the drill is new and there isn't any wear yet. Just use a little elbow grease to work it in, try angleing it in, rather than pushing straight. Brother Anvilus
Could it be that you screw the front bit on before you try to insert the drillbit? so you just unscrew the front 'clamp' until you can slide in the drillbit, then screw it thighter. If it doesn't fit any of the dark pieces, you might have a too large drillbit ( and then I wonder what size it is, thought it takes up to and a little over 2mm bits??? ) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/269050-instructions-on-how-to-use-a-pinning-drill/#findComment-3278671 Share on other sites
