I'd agree. Jaw-dropping paintjobs, but they don't look like Space Wolves. The first guy uses Lord Zhufor's body, but the Chaos and World Eater iconography is too recognizable and distinct to be passed off as a Loyalist of any type.

The second guy is better, since he uses Tyberos the Red Wake's body, and Tyberos is a Loyalist. No Chaos icons there. You have to be really careful with wolf pelts, as many of the stock pieces made stick out at odd angles if you don't attach them just so to a model. This guy's wolf pelt is flowing in a direction that doesn't agree with gravity.

The paint work is amazing, though.

I'm sure all others are in the same boat not wanting to be negative when you are looking at models this gorgeous.

Having said that though i do have to agree and say they don't really feel like Wolves. The iconography added to make them look like Wolves doesn't quite work as it feels a little like a localised addition. That probably sounds daft, but essentially (for me) the overall feel of the models isn't wolves-esque. They almost like they were intended as pre/during heresy type models (although colours etc wouldnt match necessarily)

As I say sorry if that dounds OTT negative, they truely are fantastic, but I think you've not quite captured the character you were aiming at. Would be interesting to see normal SW models in this scheme to see how it would work in that context.

You know what, no, these don't look like Space Wolves.

But I'll tell you what they do look like – they look like miniatures painted to absolute perfection.

These are simply stunning. I love the work you've done on the bases too.

In all honesty, two of the best painted models I've seen in a while.

OK, jaw dropping paint job there... ;)

These are fantastic - and who said anything about Space Wolves? These are the Blood Wolves - a Khorne following splinter group of the Word Bearers... or something! :P ;)

The paint job is phenomenal and thats all I care about. The extra detail added to the second terminators skulls are the best part of these pieces

Upon closer inspection, it appears that the skulls have the third and twelfth legions instead of the second and eleventh. This could just be a glare or maybe I just imagined they were supposed to represent the missing legions.
