Sir Clausel Posted March 1, 2013 Author Share Posted March 1, 2013 As this army is a space wolves count as army. Im not gonna be using an EC any time soon. But I do have a conversion in mind. Im thinking something Gabriel Seth conversion... The tabards are super easy. I use the now old GW paints. Khemri Brown as base coat, then layer on Kommando Khaki, Layer on Bleached Bone and highlight with 50/50 mix of bleached Bone and white. The crosses on the helmets are a MUST for me. Its simply one of the most awesome thing about the BT. Thanks for ALL the positive comments guys! Much appreciated! PS and the squad leader is a DW sergeant conversion. Sir Clausel Posted March 2, 2013 Author Share Posted March 2, 2013 For the tabard i simply cut out a piece of plasticcard in the size i want it to be. Sculpt the folds with green stuff on the plasticcard and then glue it on. Pretty simple and effective. I was actually thinking of blackmane count as for the EC as a lone wolf simply aint powerfull enough. And again thanks for all the positive stuff you guys say. Means a lot! I actually think that we can just about get away with demigryphs, not too far off at all scale wise, and when we factor in that they have no doubt been tampered with by some Magos Biologis and now have titanium spines etc so I am sure that a sapce marine feels no heavier than a bag of sugar. I have a deep rivalry with black Templars and generally try to hate them for humiliating me :) however your army has do much character and your conversions rock so hard that I must tip my hat.
