Kastor Krieg Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 I'd rather think it's intentional. Think about the scale, it's half a centimeter by half a centimeter semi-globe of solid plastic. I can imagine how much raw material (and weight - shipping cost!) they are saving by just this move. It's a new moulding form, why not design it with a bit of forethought to cost and logistics? Also, the outside "missing" part - it might as well be some kind of a suction attachment point in the mould, allowing the whole arm to be a single piece. kanan Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 ok but why not do the same for ALL the TDA arms... its roughly half on my Deathwing Command boxset not all... and you also have to consider the amount of wastage in terms of the actual frame of the sprue so i doubt that this intentional but hey you could be right... unless someone here works at GW manufacturing in Nottingham who can verify this then i doubt we will ever know for sure...
