I give you Lugft "Not a Traitor Yet" Huron, as Dark Angels "Totally Not Traitors, Dude, So Really, Chill The Crusading, Please" TDA Company Master with counts-as Mace of Redemption (AC3 LCs only make sense, IMO!) and the Lion's Roar.

The mini is most likely a FW recast I got from a guy on top of our miniatures exchange, so I won't be complaining and had no hesitation in converting him, the Lion shoulderpad just begged for it! The actual claws-claws have been flimsy and weak, one of them broke off, so I just cut the rest off and left him with the badass Horus-style gauntlet claws. The other hand had a heavy flamer, I used one of the two TDA Librarian's stormbolters, the combi-plasma stormbolter (imagine my surprise when I found those bits in the set! I thought he only had that extended hand! The other SB, the one with a nice Veteran style sling, I gave to my converted Ivanus Enkomi - also part of that mini exchange). The flamer's fuel tank gives the Lion's Roar enough plasma for the "cannon-sized" shot.

Now that I finally got my grubby hands on the DW Terminators set, I am less impressed with Belial. Special characters should be unique. It used to be that the Company Masters displayed their own personal heraldry on their shoulder pads. Belial has a shoulder pad copied directly from one the DW Knight right should pads, and his torso is also a copy of a DW Knight bit, just with an additional targeter top center. Lazy sculpting. Belial should be more unique. Accordingly, why shouldn't people be building up plastic Belials from the DW Knights bits? The DW Knights bits look very nice, and as can be seen the very first model pictured in this thread is a pretty good rendition of Belial, and he's made from readily available bits. We can at least say that the pose is more dynamic. tongue.png If I do get the model, he will likely end up getting converted.

Has anyone tried mixing and matching parts and bits from DV and the DW box? How about biked and vehicles? Anyone make a DIY Land Speeder Vengeance?

Yeah, I'm in the process of doing some now- for example, making the plasma cannon marine provided in the DV box into a bike mounted standard bearer. Also in the process of making the DV RW "sergeant" into an apothecary for the same command squad. I can try and get some pictures up if you like.

Yes please! pics would be great.

I have some of the Terminators coming in via eBay... and I want to use the Assault Cannon torso for a character, or something special. I'm sure it won't be hard to convert.

I'm working on a count as Belial for my DIY sucsessors, the Angels Amaranthine. I'm going for the angel of death look. Excuse the copious amounts of tack as I'm still deciding on poses.

I wanted to have an Asmodai but didn't like and didn't have the money for one so I kitbashed him from the bitz from the DA upgrade sprues that I had lying around. The Banner topper is a servo Skull and the sword is from the GF's Space Wolves set. I kinda based him on the below image:
