Ok, just got back into 40k after a small hiatus of about 21years lol, talking about the rogue trader and epic times. I have been reading a bunch of the Horus heresy books which are superb and they have got me hooked again. Only recently got back into painting minis, I have been painting some WWII miniatures and tanks. Anyhow, picked up these minis below from eBay and thought I would have a crack at some 40k stuff again. There are some fantastic minis and conversions on these forums, so please go easy on me :-) Trying for a nurgle theme as I have always like the rotting pestilence look. Well done on the paint jobs, that's some impressive work, feels like you've captured the nurgle theme very nicely! I'm a 21 year veteran myself, got a 2nd hand copy of the rogue trader from a friend, it was all over from then on. What else is planned for your growing chaos warband? In the immediate future I plan to finish the Chosen Marines squad and base them and the helbrute properly. Not sure what to do with them base wise, happy to hear suggestions? Future plans are to convert a combat squad I have into Plaguemarines, which I'll put up in due course. I have also picked up the scibor chaos master, which I have converted slightly (bloated belly and burst armour type thing), it would probably have been easier to buy his own nurgle master but I fancy the conversion challenge.
