FnP can still be used to counter the 'melt your face' roll of 1, correct? And whilst I haven't tried this, I can confirm that FnP on Plasma Plague Marines has saved a good number of lives*. *If you can call it that when referring to Plagues... From what I heard about the Standard of Devastation, it'll be all units with at least one model within 6" of the standard bearer.
