Stercus
Welcome back folks. It's taken me a while to get used to the new format, but I'm here to pick some brains. I've been lucky enough to discover a local place that stocks the Vallejo paint range and they seem loads cheaper than the GW paints, or at least to come in bigger sizes. My question is, does anyone know the nearest comparable Vallejo colours to match GW catachan green and regal blue? I have a little of each left, but will run out soon. I could probably move over to the new GW range, but it seems a lot of effort and expense if the Vallejo paints match well. Thanks. Motorbike Mike
I'm unsure of the comparrisson colours, but I'd just take your pots into the shop with you and compare the colours that way.. You can see it for yourself then, too. I find Vallejo paints a nice alternative, theres a Boyes shop just a short walk from house that stocks them. Mike. alex567
I've heard alot of people prefere vallejo, so if you've found somewhere that stocks them your in luck. As Motorbike Mike said, taking pots in to compare them would be best. Stercus
Thanks very much folks. I've picked up a couple of bottles of Vallejo to try while the board's been off line. Billy Butcher
I've found Vallejo to be massively superior (IMO) to GW's offerings, especially Model Color and Air Color (I don't much like the Game Color). I also love all the other little lines they seem to do :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/269893-gw-vallejo-comparisons/#findComment-3292361 Share on other sites
Chaeron
Their fluorescent range is also fantastic. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/269893-gw-vallejo-comparisons/#findComment-3292763 Share on other sites
