TrentL
So I got WD387 and I've been using it as a guideline to paint up a small 500 point army list for an escalation campaign I'm doing with some friends. For those who have it my question is on page 96 under the "2 FURS" step 4 says to use Mournfang Brown. But the pictures between 3, 4, 5 don't match the colors unless I'm missing something. TrentL
I'd post a scan of my WD just those two boxes but I'm guessing Scans aren't allowed.... sorta frustrating it almost looks like they got the boxes mixed up...but I'm no expert... I sorta paint by numbers. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270104-painting-my-solves-and-wd387/#findComment-3290946 Share on other sites

Ulv
I've been using the same WD as a guide to paint my wolves. I started painting some furs today and got to step 3 which is the Agrax Earthshade wash to create the darker part of the fur. This is what I think they meant to do, though I haven't tried it myself. Step 5 shows Tallarn Sand being used to highlight the lighter fur. Note that in Step 4 the fur is already highlighted with a lighter colour. Again if you look at step 5, I think they used Mournfang Brown to highlight the part that you washed with Agrax Earthshade, creating a darker highlight. Step 6 just shows Ushabti Bone as the final highlight on all the fur. Hope that helps. Ulv.
