Dreadnought Problems

Ragged Warrior

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased a used dreadnought to add to my army, but, in accordance with my naiveté I later discovered that it was an Ironclad. I really want to number the 'Nought within my ranks, but I need the right load-out.

So my question is, what arm attachments should I be looking for and what should I do in the meantime?

Thanks for reading!

The normal choice for GK Dreads is twin Autocannon and Psybolt Ammo giving a long range presence that the GK miss out on most time (allies not inlcuded). If you have a Raven then it is possible to have him transported in it then give him Heavy Flamers and Psyflame ammo to make all your flamers S6 AP4.

If you really want to use it as an Ironclad it will need to be trhough using allies.

So, as you can see . . . there is no longer a Dreadnought problem. I turned him into a Dreadknight! I have him painted, but before I got my hopes up, I wanted to see what you thought, and what you might change before I show him to you all pretty.

Note that he is the same height as a dreadknight, and that I kitted him out with what I had left over from my Dreadknight box.

Uh oh. Uhhhh....count-as a heavy incinerator. Otherwise, nice job. I like people who can take other models and make something cool and different out of it.

Btw, the hammer is completely useless in-game, as you have S10 at all times (including with the greatsword). So, maybe count-as a greatsword for that as well? Looks cool though
