Testmini, need help on feathers

I'd say red, to contrast the green

Realistically, you've got two choices, Firstly the traditional DW feather, white with a black tip, or secondly, (and this'd be my choice) gold, I think it would really fit in with rest of your scheme.

I'd go with a white base-feather and then do a thin black strip (angled to the "grain") and finish the tip off in red.  Should contrast nicely with the rest of the mini while also tieing in to one of the classic Dark Angel feather styles.

Hm, classic DA is perhaps best, to tie my minis more to their progenitors.. How do they get those feathers anyways? Their homeplanet was destroyed, was it not? Do they keep birds on their big ship/fortress thingy?
