derpasaurus
my understanding is yes they can be mounted in a rhino, but they cannot take a "dedicated transport." so the rhino would have to be from another squad or one purchased separately. when i've run mine, i just run them BEHIND a rhino, because they have fleet so they can reroll runs and do a decent job of keeping up, and the rhino can screen LoS for them. the elite priests should be able to join any squad they want. i don't see much of a point in joining many characters to repentia, other than maybe the +1 to your faith test. (they're already fearless) i have also heard some people say priests are just too expensive for what you get, tho i could see situationally taking one or 2 and throwing them down with condemnor boltguns as psyker hunters. Sister Rosette Soulknyt
Put a Repressor next to them first turn, it gives you a Bulldozer, heavy flamer and twin bolters to get your girls closest. *Furyou Miko
I thought Fleet only let you reroll your assault distance, not run checks. Anyway, yeah: Short answer, "No, Repentia cannot take a transports." Long answer: "While Repentia cannot take a transport, there is nothing stopping them stealing a different unit's transport once the game begins." derpasaurus
I thought it was both? I could be wrong, I have one unit in two armies that has the rule, doesn't get used much. Also, there are no assault transports in the sisters army :( so you'd have to unload them early anyway, which is primarily why I don't even load them up. CommissarHarris
I used to use the "Diving bell" tactic, surrounding them with other peoples rhinos and repressors to block line of sight to them allowing them a turn of movement undercover. Then i heard the transport blag, so i experimented with that. I have lately gone back to the Diving Bell. I find not being able to Assault out of the transport is killer. I have tried to make it work, but i have found it difficult. More often than not they are tumbled out short of the objective from an explosion, with no cover and murdered at range. derpasaurus
Until we magically get an assault vehicle, I think using other vehicles to block LoS is far and away the best option for them.
