Sup everyone, this is my first post on the forums here, but I used to post on a now, dead, forum.

For today, I got with me Lucious the Eternal, whom I'm sure you're all familiar with. I wanted to paint him for 2 reasons; 1. the new codex actually makes him pretty decent, especially in challenges 2.the faces, those shrieking faces in his armour ar just irresistible to paint. Anyways, here I'll post the progress of my new army, whilst later in another WIP I'll be doing my Blood Angels.

To all who see this. I just got enough sonic weaponry to make 2 10 man squads, but I really want to do something different with the paint job. Let's be honest, the Emperors children colour scheme is pretty lame. I was thinking of just switching the colours, so the pink would be black and the black would be pink haha

 

If anyone has any ideas, throw em out there, I'd appreciate it.

Also, my friend gave me a model to paint in one and a half days, so it's not THE BEST looking, but for the time given, it's not bad. I think I'll go back and change the cloth.

Sounds good to me. I've long thought some of them use too much black for supposed contrast. Switching the colours sounds like a decent solution, or giving the black and pink parity.

Nice job so far. Looking forward to some finished Noise Marines.

wow, that pink on the cloth is.......really great actually! and the pink black switch sounds cool, maybe incorporate some original legion colors, yeah, I mean purple.

Incorperate some purple, now THAT never crossed my mind, I'm gonna try it out, see what I get. I decided to throw some Flawless Host patterns in there, to decent effect might I add. Also, I feel I should just say it, the cloth was done with pink, and a dark purple paint wash, nothing to big.
