Giarc
Looking for help and assistance on building a base for a Warhound titan. I have some ideas, and plans, but not sure how big i should make the base. This is gonig to be something that i can remove the titan off easily. Right now i am thinking about using the terrain that GW produces with the dead trees, and the rhino thats blown up on it. Making some slight modifications to make it stronger. But the main question I have is: How big should the base be? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270390-base-for-a-warhound-titan/ Share on other sites
Phoros
One of the managers at my local GW uses a forest base for it, but it doesn't look quite big enough. Jolemai
12" vinyl? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270390-base-for-a-warhound-titan/#findComment-3294429 Share on other sites
Seahawk
I used a 17" oval wooden plaque from MIchaels. It counterbalances the weight properly and looks great. I glued two metal washers to the wood, then two strong magnets to the feet, and it sticks very well. Giarc
I just dont know what the proper size should be. There was a question that came up in my last game, i forget how it went exactly, but it stated "measured from the base". So i dont want to make it too big, or small. But then again, i am not sure how much that would matter. I was thinking about a 12" or so circle/oval. Also, the idea with the washers, and magnets is a very good idea to make it more stable. The stance my warhound is in doesnt wobble much at all. I still get nervous about it falling over.
