Savage Shark
I am looking for some Foam board to store my army. I've seen the Citadel cases and they are okay. But I have a lot of custom models that won't fit inside the standard cells. Maybe something with the tear out foam, for a custom fit. Do any of you have suggestions for where I can find some foam boards? Thanks. Durus
Feldherr offers a range of foamtrays that goes from 20mm to 100mm deep. Either precut or pluckable for custom fits. I use them to store my minis and I can recommend them. Durus
Here you go. Just noticed that you can sort the trays by compatibility inside the store, not only for their own cases but also the GW ones. Neat. You have to get a bottom piece to glue the pluckables onto. Depending on how much you take out you'll end up with enough foam to make another tray with a second bottom piece. That's why it's worthwhile to get more bottoms than trays. +edit+ Just noticed that there doesn't seem to be a single store in the US that sells Feldherr. So shipping might be an issue. Kaiser-Rushworth, Sabol and Battlefoam apparently have a similar systems. I never had any of their products in my hands though, so I can't say anything about them but they might be easier to get where you are.
