Palak
I just noticed something checking the volkite weaponry on FW website, and I think they made a mistake in the book. When u check the size of the gun, the Charger look to be the Heavy type weapon and the caliver more like an assault one. But when I check on Betrayal, it's the contrary. Is it just me being silly in my head or maybe they just switched the profiles on the book? Demus Ragnok
Well i dont have the book but just looking at forgeworld the caliver seems much larger than the charger. Greyshift
I don't have the book with me to check but why not fire off a quick email to FW? They need to change their website pro to if you're right Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270594-mistake-with-volkite-weapon/#findComment-3296210 Share on other sites
Jim AMM realgenius
The Charger is about the size of a big pistol. The Caliver is larger than a bolter. Seems like that's how it should be to me... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270594-mistake-with-volkite-weapon/#findComment-3296406 Share on other sites
mysteriousmaskedmystery
the charger is definitely two handed, it clearly has a place for the supporting hand to go. but its barrel ends just past where the hand guard is. the caliver is significantly longer. Koriel
The charger is smaller then the caliver, perhaps you are misstaking it for the largest version which is called the culverin. Vardus
Looking at the images on FW it is easy to think that Charger is larger than the Caliver, with a closer look you can see that the images of the guns are not the same scale and if you were to scale them the Charger is indeed smaller. It also does not help that there are no images of marines armed with a charger to give a sense of scale. Emperors Teeth
Even more confusingly is that there are 4 Volkite weapons, not 3 like infantry bolters (bolt pistol, bolter, heavy bolter) Pistol - Volkite Serpenta (No model yet) Basic - Volkite Charger (model = yes) Special - Volkite Caliver (model = yes) Heavy - Volkite Culverin (One on the jetbike) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270594-mistake-with-volkite-weapon/#findComment-3299253 Share on other sites
