Ooh, very pretty. I wonder if that means the Land Raider Phobos gets two design choices, the standard and the Mk IIb.

Would you guys like to speculate as to what rules the fire raptor has?

 

 

Right meow im thinking it has:

 

dual avenger cannons (maybe servitor pilots too? that would be sick nasty)

 

two side firing ball turrets - rules could possibly be able to fire at BS 2 against ground targets while zooming

-either quad bolters or twin linked autocannons

 

chaff launchers

 

strafing run

I'd say they'll likely be BS4 tbh - looked like an actual marine in the cupola for each turret, or if they are servitor manned then BS2 while zooming and BS3-4 in hover mode.

 

I think it would have access to armoured Ceramite (they've stated it to be the Storm Eagle minus transport capacity with extra firepower/weapons capacity) and perhaps other turret options.

 

Either way I like it a LOT but idk about the £95 price tag :/ that said the Eagle is £93...

Kol, the Land Raider Proteus has no assault ramp, and is basically a FW version of the old RT-era raider.

Can confirm the Phobos pattern is the plastic GW one, the mkIIb Phobos is the FW previously linked :)

 

I'd love a Proteus for good old RT style :)

I'm thinking it'll be similar to the Helldrake. And by that I mean it'll have one configuration for attacking ground targets and then another for air supremacy.

It's an awesome model, in my opinion. And for FW not to disclose loyalist units, that must mean they'll be grand. At least as good or even better than the Bearers and Children we've seen.

Sarum helmets are basically mk VII helms. Though there is one helm in the mk IV kit that may be a Sarum.

Yup. Honestly, I'd go with Mk. II though, considering that's what the rest of their armor is.

Just use the Khorne Berzerker helm and shave off the warrior crests if you want snarling helms.

i actually bought the fw world eater upgrade set and used the left over heads from those  on some regular guys. i want to get more of the helmetless grill heads and use those

i wasn't sure how far gone i wanted them to be, i just put in another order for the upgrade kit
