Reavers aren't in Betrayal, no. They're probably going to be in Massacre, but honestly at this point you can still use them as anything you want... slap a jumpack on them, make them Assault Marines. The armor would be a good starting point for Destroyers too, IMO.

I swear, if they make that vindi in iron warrior colors, then were all in trouble...

 

I thought i heard fapping coming from the iron warriors thread when they released the sicarian tank :P

 

we might have to inform heathen's wife about the impending affair with the new tanks he might be having.....

Sons of Horus officer could simply be a tactical air controller or something from the Sons ready to swoop in on an Iron Warriors breach in the Palace Defenses. Make him a Master of Signal or Siege Breaker and get the Reserves deal or the Nuncio-Vox for your Medusas.

I already have a Siege Breaker planned, but having a SoH FISTer is a solid idea. I'll bumble around and figure out something.

Hey hey hey what's wrong with the king of battle! 13B few of life's problems cannot be solved by the proper application of high explosives especially from a high angle with good data ;)

Looks like the new models are out

 

We have the Phoenix Guard terminators in artificed Tartaros armor, and we have Iron Hands contemptors, along with Iron Hands shoulder pads.

 

The Phoenix Guard looked nice.  I wasn't anticipating them to be in tartaros, though, but it makes sense now that I come to think about it.

I like the nice subtle variations t hey added to the IH contemptor, like the different engine at the back and the Adeptus Mechanicus-ish helmet...

 

Although this week's show stealers are definitely the Phoenix terminators! Wow, these are soooo lovely!

 

It's still not too late to reconsider my Legion alegiance, since I'd been holding off putting a order in (hoping FW would release the Vindi this week)... So far the only models I've painted in XII whites and blues are test Mk VII plastics (unnecessary extras now that I, too, have decided 40k wasn't my kind of flavor anymore; although I'll keep my orks I guess!)

Might be considering a III legion force meow, always wanted to since reading Fulgrim.

 

Plus their praetors get an edge over the stalemate of paragon blade v. paragon blade since they get that essential boost of +1 initiative by getting the inexpensive sonic shrieker. Makes all the difference in the world.

 

and an added bonus that their models look like resin sexy time

Speaking of, what is up with the Sicaran battle tank. It's like a whole new vehicle dropped out of nowhere, and by that I mean it's not a variant of a rhino like most vehicles tend to be. It's a straight from-the-bottom-up purpose-built tank. What it ever mentioned in a novel?

I kind of wished the Phoenix Guard had a ranged weapon.  As far as I can tell from the models, they only have their halberds, and while that's cool and all, at least the Deathshroud had their chemical launchers.

 

Only sissy loyalists use *guns*

I believe it was originally discovered by Adeptus Land, before he took a socket wrench to the processer-cranium ph34r.png (pesky admech conservatives)

this was back waaaaaay in the ole days of yore and lore. Supposed to gap the bridge between land raider and predator

Ah good old Land.  Discovering everything it seems.

 

Eh.  It's just that in my opinion, something moving as slow as a terminator (though I suppose guys in Tartaros might move faster) would be pretty hard-pressed to close in on combat and be rendered ineffective without a ranged weapon, unless they were dropped, transported, or teleported in.

 

Personally, I am highly anticipating the Kakophonie.  The aspect of the legion's descent into debauchery, how something so good and perfect can fall so low, was the real appeal of the Emperor's Children.  Corruption of the pure is so delicious.

As a Civil Affairs guy I hate to go into a village after the application of explosives....so many people wanting money for their blown up houses, goats, chicken etc. Hell I had a guy want us to pay for the damage caused by the Russians back when they invaded. If you're going to use Arty, level the whole darn place.

Jeremy you should be Iron Warriors not Imperial Fists. JUST SAYIN!
