I wouldn't dare mutilate anything that wonderful! Except Erebus. But that's only because I want his arms.

I will make sure to mutilate him as killed by my Ultramarines forces.  His broken corpse will serve as basing material for some of my more heroic units

Aye, those talons are almost a waste on Phaeron, they seem tailor-made for a Night Lord.

Not exactly. I mean, I can see where they'd fit in, but look closely. Those claws are connected to his fingers. It's more like they're puppet claws than anything else. It's a little off-putting to my sense of aesthetics. But I can definitely see the attraction. They look wicked. But I have my heart set on a Nostraman glaive.

No wonder that the world eaters have no friends, everyone just jacks their axes :P

Blood angels - flesh tearers and amit chainaxes

Night Lords - chain glaives

Sons of Horus - reavers have chainaxes

grrrrrr *twitches chainaxe trigger*

They made new Night Lord doors and the imagery between 40K Night Lords and GC/HH Night Lords is minimal at best. Not to mention, there are still shoulder pads. The Salamanders are currently the only Legion missing its own section. So far, Forgeworld has done quite a job keeping up the hype, if nothing more. Besides, Iron Hands doors can only be bought from the Heresy section now. They're out of stock in 40K section.

Except that the 40K Night Lords doors have Chaos Stars on them. The new ones are just the Night Lords iconography, which is more fitting.

Hey now. A chain-glaive just a two-handed chainsword. No need to get twitchy here. Depthcharge, you have a weird look in your eye. No, stay away. Stay back! I'm warning you! Oh look, it's a killer bunny. RUN! RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! teehee.gif

Like I said, minimal.

I'm imagining we might see another set of pads for Iron Hands pads, and the Salamanders should get some love in the form of mk II and III pads, perhaps. Also, Erebus and Kor Phaeron will go up too (probably at the same cost as Abaddon and Loken - £55. Well, hopefully not any more than that. Though I wouldn't be surprised, Fulgrim was a fiver more than Angron)

Well, thinking about it, last year we only got shoulder pads, doors and Angron (Legion-specific wise). this year, there are obviously 4 Legions to cater for, but pads and doors aside, we already have Phoenix Guard, Kor Phaeron/Erebus and Ferrus Manus confirmed, so it depends how much FW are saving.

It would be nice to see more stuff, as there will be roughly another 8 units for the original 4 Legions (based on these 4 having 3 units each, so another 2) plus the 8 for the new Legions, they do need to start cranking out the minis, especially if the rumours of book III being realesed early 2014 happen.

If you look at the Salamanders squad page they teased in the youtube video, it mentions they fought against Grave Warden Terminators of the Death Guard...perhaps the rumoured Chem Weapons squad that was mentioned at the Horus Heresy Weekender?

And between them and the 6 new units for the 4 Legions in book II (as we already know of the Fire Drakes/Pyre Guard and Val Gorbak), lot of new stuff going on :-) I'm thinking we could see the Circle of Ashes before long, or the Night Lords Terror Squad, as these seem to be the ones that had most done by the Weekender in May. Fingers crossed, anyways

Well we know that Morlocks, Pyre Guard, Medusan Immortals, Terror Squads, Gal Vorbak, Circle of Ashes and possibly one more each for NL and Salamanders are more or less certain to be included. Add in another unit each for the 4 legions from Betrayal (Phoenix Guard, Red Butchers, Catalun Reavers, Chem-totting DG Terms) and that's a hefty chunk of new models right there, not including vehicles like the javelin, sicaran and fire raptor which have been confirmed to have their rules included.
