Onisuzume
At least they did not give Ferrus a wrench-hammer. Im thankful for that.Wasn't his hammer made by Fulgrim? I doubt that Fulgrim would make something as silly as wrench-hammer. That doesn't makes much sense, since there's the Battle of Prospero and Thramas. Most likely Russ Vs Magnus and Lion VS CurzeMaybe they'll get two versions? I mean, the one big duel that Lion and the Wolf had was a fisticuff one (the one on Duran). Their other "duel" involved the Wolf letting himself be gutted by the Lion. So based on that, I'd say that Lion vs. Curze would be more likely. Yes it was made by Fulgrim, but Im just referencing the image from BL where Ferrus appears fighting Fulgrim on Isstvan V with what looks like a giant wrench. Actually in the duel between them Ferrus didn't use Forgebreaker nor a giant wrench but a sword, Fireblade. Fulgrim used Forgebreaker first and then the Laer sword. But it was the best option, besides as a primarch in the Great Crusade he used Forgebreaker, so for the mini was a good choice, fluffwise in the Great Crusade time but not that much on Istvaan V duel. And by the way, if Perturabo used Forgebreaker after Istvaan V, his model will carry the same weapon that Ferrus? Intriguing... Conn Eremon
He isn't talking about what is in the book, he is talking about the cover image. Fulgrim and Ferrus fight.in the distance, and ferrus has a hammer with an eagle head that looks for all the world like a wrench. Kol Saresk
I think the artist was trying to get the image down that Fulgrim made an eagle-shaped hammer. Obviously Forgeworld managed a more aesthetically pleasing piece. GrandMagnus
Well if the artist for the BL cover wanted an eagle shaped hammer then that person has never seen an eagle in his life, just saying. I know, I was saying that in the novel he didn't actually used any kind of hammer. Actually I was expecting Fireblade in the model, and I didn't like the idea, nor the wrench on Fulgrim cover. Forgebreaker was the best option. The only problem I see is that unless Perturabo uses other random weapon, his model should carry Forgebreaker too if it pretends to be "fluffwise". In Phall he carried the hammer IIRC. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270656-incoming-heresy-models/page/50/#findComment-3469661 Share on other sites
Wade Garrett
You are right on the bracelets on Ferrus. Why would he wear them when his arms are made of metal? Man's name means "Iron Hands" in Latin, his Legion is called the "Iron Hands", and they cut off their hands to give themselves iron hands. Man has a problem with over theming. Tyrannicide
I don't even have a clue of what else they'll be displaying but I can't wait to see what we've got in store! I'm sure we'll get more in depth analysis of Massacre, Ferrus, along with Erebus & Kor, and a few other surprises hopefully. Disruptor_fe404
This is mostly a question for my own curiosity: What non-Primarch characters are we expecting for the Blood Angels, the Ultramarines, and the Imperial Fists? I'm mostly hoping for a Sigismund, but I don't know enough about the rest of the Legions in the Heresy to hazard a guess. DuskRaider
For Imperial Fists, you will probably see Alexis Pollux "The Crimson Fist", as he was the commander for the Battle of Phall. Sigismund was on Terra at the time, along with Dorn, so you won't see his rules anytime soon. You may get Dorn I suppose. Ultramarines and Blood Angels are too far off. Maybe Amit for Blood Angels?
