Kol Saresk
Holy :cuss yet again FW live up to the (very) high expectations. Plus there's a newsletter A DAY If they're building up what the hell could be next??? Terrir Squads, Firedrakes and Morlocks, oh my! SteelPaladin
Forge World can't keep this up, can they? Release after release of incredible sculpts. The FW releases of the past few months are up there as some of the greatest miniatures produced in the hobby. EVER. FW is going to make so much money from me in the next few weeks... Emperor's Furor
The Word Bearers seem to be painted like one layer less than how I've started painting my trial white scar biker, thought they'd be darker. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/FW/Events/preview-uk-2013/ash-c-5.jpg http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/FW/Events/preview-uk-2013/kakophoni1.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270656-incoming-heresy-models/page/53/#findComment-3473957 Share on other sites
Noctus Cornix
I'm not gonna lie, neither of these unit are very appealing. while the chain tomahawks are pretty cool, the Destroys just look kinda meh. I'm not sure if it's the helmet, the enormous neckguards, or a combination of both, but I just don't like them. They look silly to me. The noise Marines, while pretty cool, look too bulky and in-elegant to me. Which makes sense being that they're supposed to be noise weapon prototypes but I kinda prefer the GW ones. But that's just me. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270656-incoming-heresy-models/page/53/#findComment-3473960 Share on other sites
Conn Eremon
I have never been a fan of the Noise Marine look. Those are by far the superior ones in my eyes, but that is entirely due to the lack of overt Chaos influence. The Ashen Host looks downright amazing, though. I am a huge fan of the grey color scheme. Brother Captain Lucian
I didn't like the Ashen guys at first.. but they are growing on me. The proto noise marines are awesome though. Verythrax Draconis
I know now which minis I'll use as my noise marines... I just need a good excuse to use those WBs, even if I need to convert some stuff. Thousand Sons, perhaps? DuskRaider
I have to wonder if the Ashen Circle helms are similar to Cataphractii where they're only about half the head, or if they're a full helm but the armor just conceals it. They'd be great for Mk. II variants. Need those axes, though. Daemon2027
Those chain tomahawk would be great for heathens inspired Raven Guard skinwalkers. Jareddm
For me, the Ashen Circle helmets remind me way too much of the old image of World Eater assault marines with super squished heads. And it's a style I just have trouble appreciating. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110321203531/warhammer40k/images/thumb/1/15/Lhorke_Assault_Squad.jpg/200px-Lhorke_Assault_Squad.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270656-incoming-heresy-models/page/53/#findComment-3474244 Share on other sites

Adra'Melek
He was a dreadnought in Betrayer I think. And yes a former Legion Master I think. KBA
These look really good. Especially those proto noise marines. I'm going to lose my mind when they do RG stuff. Flint13
Hmm... I really like some of those weapons from the new power weapons sets. But is it bad that I can't really see a difference between the MK2 and MK3?
